ReplyDeleteAmen. May we discern the essence of christmas and appreciate God's love, Jesus as gift and benefit thereby. Thank you. Have a great year ahead.
DeleteThe essence of Christmas is Jesus. There was a prophesy in the book of Isaiah 9:6 -that “ for unto us a child is born , unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulders and his name shall be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, THE EVERLASTING FATHER,THE PRINCE OF PEACE. So therefore, the essence of Christmas to us as Christians is to constantly be reminded that our root and foundation is Christ and we should allow him to govern our life. Many Christians have lost their first love of Christianity. Christmas season is a time to look back and come back to the Wonderful son that was given to us, allowing Him to govern our lives.
ReplyDeleteYes. It is a time of reflection and evaluation to be sure if we allow Him to do what He came to earth to do, if not we should reallign ourselves to this. He is always ready to do more than we can expected in all areas. Thank you for sharing this ma.
